Embodiment as Spiritual Activism

Embodiment is the radical notion that living on this planet is a bodily process. Embodiment stands as a regular practice of presence for our individual and complex experiences, allowing life’s moments of unfolding to guide us closer to ourselves. Working to re-member ourselves whole is an invitation to what is actually occurring for us, awakening to the world with our whole bodies in tow, and arriving to each moment with a sense of grounded presence. We can awaken to our complexity, hold it with wonder and admiration, and make use of it for a flourishing world. Embodied, we arrive home inspired, re-enchanted, taken to mystery and magik. And from here, we move. From here, we change. This revolution will be embodied.

Embodied Counseling

Revolutionary embodiment is at the core of embodied counseling. This therapeutic approach to unpacks life’s mysteries and our individual life paths through the wisdom of the body. This particular offering is a weaving together of the lineages of Hakomi, Ecopsychology and Somatic Psychology, ritual and ceremony, and political and ecological critical analysis. This interpersonal form of counseling allows a dive deep into the internal world to untie the knots that have limited access to free the movement of love, peace, acceptance, and engagement.

Embodied Education & Equity Consultation

Embodiment is a human right, an animal right, and earthling right. It is a truth of the matter. Education that supports liberation is embodied, anchoring us to our humanity, our animality, and the Living Earth. Embodied education is an offering of a worldview influenced by somatic psychology, trauma research, feminist and womanist theory, spiritual and mysitcal consciousness, and ecological perspectives.
